Sam Knight
Executive Director
Sam grew up in a small village in the eastern valleys of South Wales. He had the privilege of being educated at West Monmouth School, Pontypool College and Oxford University.
Sam grew up playing Rugby. Starting at junior school level, playing throughout his school and college career and following school for local club sides. He also played cricket for local clubs and throughout school. While at Oxford, Sam played rugby for New College, Oxford. However, he found another sporting passion, Rowing Crew. Sam captained the Regent’s Park College Men’s Boat Club and was Captain of Boats in his final year. He coached three very successful crews and rowed in a crew that won ‘Blades’ at the summer regatta. Sam continued with his passion for Rugby in Texas, coaching the Rugby Team at Lamar University, Beaumont.
Sam is married to Jennifer, a beautiful Texan girl who agreed to marry him just four days after they met. They were married five months later. They have three incredible children: Cinnone, Gethin and Gwyneth
Jody Seibert
Accountant
Jody grew up in Pennsylvania where she earned a B.S. degree in Accounting, and came to Bozeman by way of Arizona, Wyoming, and Colorado in 2019. She is a national parks fan, enjoying hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
Jody enjoys working with nonprofits and is excited to see the work ROC Wheels is doing.
David Storebo
Veteran Lead
David was born and raised in a small town in northern Minnesota. He joined the army after high school and served as a crew chief on Blackhawk helicopters in the first Gulf war with the 101st Airborne. His inclination for vehicles and mechanics next found him driving across the USA. He still enjoys wrenching on vehicles, including his 1997 TJ Jeep Wrangler, which you can find him taking off-road in the mountains around Bozeman or on the rocks of Moab. When not Jeeping in the summer months, he’ll likely be 4-wheeling with friends. David has worked in sales, the oilfield of North Dakota, and now owns a construction and Property Management business with his wife, Sarah, here in the Gallatin Valley. David has two step-children who are both attending college. Sarah and David are members of Trinity Church here in Bozeman.
John Whitcomb
Director Of Development
John grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as the youngest of four children. Creative and passionate about people, John has lived all over the US. His passions outside of work include all things culinary, the great outdoors, and serving in his local community. With a degree in film production and an extensive sales background, John brings a unique combination of skills to ROC Wheels and is excited about bringing real change to those in need.
Wayne and Lee Hanson, Founders
This website is filled with pictures of lots of people; people who build wheelchairs, people who prepare the way and children receiving the gift of mobility. The pictures of wheelchair recipients receiving mobility and hope from young people here at home say more than words can. We have a great opportunity when we fit a child into his/her new wheelchair. We can share our love and help them achieve their best potential. While we may only spend a few hours with each child, we want to leave something behind that lasts a lifetime. The gift of mobility mobilizes both the child and the whole family. This also equips people in-country to build their own wheelchairs and trains professional caregivers in-country to provide continuing care. As a Christian faith-based organization, we understand that our ultimate goal is to illustrate where our strength comes from. The boundaries between people who are served and the people who serve them begins to disappear when we reach out to each other. We are excited to share this great opportunity with people all over the world and welcome you to our website.
